Day 1

Arrival Guilin
Be met & transferred from airport to hotel by our English speaking guide by private car.

 

Day 2 (B, L, )
Guilin
One day Join in Seat in Coach tour of the Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Elephant Trunk Hill, The Folded Brocade Hill. Lunch is included.

 

Elephant Trunk Hill: Located at the conjunction of the Li River & the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks very much like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city.


Fubo Hill: You can see lots of rock stone carvings & Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty.Have a wonderful bird's-eye view of Guilin city if you climb to the summit.


Reed Flute Cave: Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" where you can see beautiful stalactites & stalagmites,learn how they are formed.


The Folded Brocade Hill: Many charming scenes such as Diecai Pavilion, Diecai Archway, Windy Cave and Cloud-catching Pavilion scatter on the hill.

 

Day 3(B, L, )
Guilin
One day tour of the Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. ( seat in coach)

 

Li River Cruise: Depart from your hotel in the morning. Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier(about 1 hour drive)for a 4.5 hours wonderful cruise. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos,cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon.

 

Day 4 (B, L, )
Guilin / Chongqing
Transfer via: Flight-on our arrangement


Free day, be met & transferred from hotel to airport for your flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival in Chongqing, be met & transferred to visit Goose Neck Park, Ciqikou Old Town, Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo. After dinner on your own, you will be transferred to the pier to board the ship.

 

Goose Neck Park: Where tourists can take a bird's eye view of the whole city of Chongqing.


Ciqikou Old Town: street of Hundreds' Years old. Take a walk to Ciqikou old street where you can see local shops, old wooden houses, old pier, tea houses, local Sichuan street performance and so on.

 

Panda Room in Chongqing Zoo: Where you can see Giant pandas.

 

Day 5 (B, L, D )
Yangtze
Shore excursion to Fengdu.

 

Fengdu:is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.

 

Day 6 (B, L, D )
Yangtze
Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(10:00-13:30).

 

Shennong Stream:is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.

 

Day 7 (B, )
Yangtze / Yichang


Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site(8:00-10:00). Arrives in Yichang at 1300 after your lunch onbaord. Then our guide will meet you at the pier and transfer you to the hotel or the airport for your next destination.

 

Three Gorges Dam:the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. Since Sep 1st, 2005, the first 1000 tourists each day get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.
